The 2015 Bolgheri Superiore Dedicato A Walter is a pure expression of Cabernet Franc, offering mineral essences of sea shell, clay and round rocks. This wine is supremely elegant, with dark fruit, spice and a touch of Mediterranean herb. The tannins are integrated and gorgeous. This vintage was aged in 100% new oak. The winemaking team has shortened the time in wood to 24 months and increased the time in bottle to ten months. (They are aiming for 12 months in bottle with the upcoming vintages.)
