The 2021 Barbaresco Rombone is a dark, elegant wine. Strong floral and savory notes meld into a core of dark-fleshed Nebbiolo fruit. The 2021 is a Rombone of great aromatic complexity and structure, with the fruit pushed into the background. Bright saline notes extend the finish. Readers will have to be patient, as the 2021 is an especially reticent Rombone. This is a fabulous expression of Treiso. 2025 - 2036
