The 2021 Barolo Galina is a dark, beguiling wine from La Morra. Dark red fruit, lavender, graphite, spice and dried herbs open in the glass. This is a pretty rich wine for the Santa Maria district. It retains the lighter qualities of this sector, but there's a good bit of understated depth as well. The Galina is a gorgeous Barolo that reconciles power and finesse.
