Showing a dark ruby color and garnet background hues, the Amalia Cascina in Langa 2018 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte is streamlined and tight with dark fruit aromas, wild rose and rusty nail. The vineyards were planted in 1982 facing southeast with classic Sant'Agata marl soils. The altitude is a breezy 400 meters above sea level, and that is a real sweet spot for Nebbiolo. Indeed, freshness and focus characterize the mouthfeel. Production is 3,000 bottles. 2024 - 2038
