The 2015 Chianti Classico is dark, plush and inviting, with plenty of black cherry, mocha, spice, licorice, wild herb, chocolate and inky dark purplish fruit signatures. Readers should expect an overt, concentrated style, but there is also just enough freshness to keep things in check. The 2015 Chianti Classico is one of the better wines I have tasted from the estate in some time. I hope it represents the future direction of these wines.
