The 2015 Chianti Classico Filetta di Lamole is an attractive, mid-weight wine. Game, smoke, earthiness and tobacco give the 2015 a distinctly wild flavor profile to play off the wild cherry fruit. A Chianti of understatement and nuance, the 2015 has a lot to recommend it. The warm vintage has filled out this mid-weight Chianti very nicely. As always, though, the Filetta di Lamole is a Chianti built on aromatics and structure more than fruit. 2018 - 2027
