The 2019 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Grosso Sanese is another superb wine from Il Palazzino. It possesses notable textural richness and mid-palate sweetness. Crushed rose petal, spice, new leather, blood orange, incense and mocha all come alive in the glass. Vivid and full of character, the Grosso Sanese is once again exceptional in 2019. Now with a few years in bottle, it's starting to open, especially in its aromatics.
