The 2019 Poggio dei Colli is incredibly fresh and perfumed, wafting up with dusty violet florals, peppery herbs and wild strawberries. There are depths yet unseen here in its youthful state, dense yet cool-toned, and poised with a mix of red and black fruits laced with saline-minerals and peppery spices. It opens more and more the longer you spend with it. This stains the palate with primary concentration and a fine coating of grippy tannins. Wow, this is sweet yet balanced and so powerful. Give the Poggio dei Colli another two to three years of cellaring. 2024 - 2034
